The Pub is the Hub of the community. and yet so many pubs have been closed down over the past thirty years that some villages have gone from having three or four pubs to having none. This website aims to keep the British Pub alive. My Little Boozer Dot Com aims to end the decline by giving the Landlords and Landladies of the British Islands help. Note we recently had an email from the Tourist board in Southern Ireland saying please include us on My Little Boozer Dot Com. Well of course we will. Scotland and Irish pubs have already had to face a ban on Smoking and in July all English Pubs and Clubs will face the same ban. We have included a special section about preparing for July. We have even persuaded one of the UK's top experts on Smoking Cessation to give us his undivided attention over the next six months to help the Pubs of England and Wale come to terms with the changes. We are also looking at what options can be provided for the ardent smokers who are determined to carry on with the habit. This website is designed by Dave Sampson. Dave has been involved in the licensed trade for well over 40 years, An acknowledged expert on publicising events in licensed premises. Dave's legendary music club 'The Wurzel Bush' is now in it's 35th year and has been using the internet to attract the crowds for over 11 years. This extra method of very low cost publicity has proved a major boon and not only attracts people from all parts of the United Kingdom but has also been attracting holiday visitors from Europe and the United States. Public houses across the country are beginning to understand the reason for skilful marketing in order maximise the potential customer base. Dave also runs an artist management agency and can supply performers of all types for your function. My little Boozer Dot Com hopes to find a solution for every need the Pub and Club trade may have whilst at the same time being an online guide to the Pubs and Clubs of The British Isles. If any one has any suggestions as to how we can improve the site please don't hesitate to contact us or if your an experienced Landlord who would like to give others the benefit of your experiences do please feel free to submit an article. Photographic material can be included if you wish. We also welcome letters from anybody who is interested in creating a discussion on any topic related to Pubs, Clubs and the licensing trade.
